Kinder ballet is little one’s first introduction to ballet. The class will focus on learning basic technique. We will learn body positions, rhythm, and how to carry the body all while using our imaginations and having fun. This class is not parent participation. Not currently on the schedule, please email your interest.

Musical Theatre Club

At Musical Theatre Club (MTC) students will learn three disciplines: Singing, Drama and Dance. The class will explore classic and new musicals such as: Annie, Seussical the Musical, Frozen, Peter Pan, Grease, Wizard of Oz and Descendants.  Students will learn to act out scenes, play drama games, as well as learn songs and dances.

Jazz/Hip Hop Open

The open level is for all levels from beginner to dancers with experience.  Students will learn basic Jazz technique including jumps and turns as well as Hip Hop steps and style while learning dance routines to fun upbeat music. The level will be tailored to those registered. 

Sampler -Ballet/Jazz/MT/Hip Hop 

The Sampler class is to give little ones an introduction to dance and taste of all the classes offered. The ballet and jazz basics will be taught and fun routines in all styles will be learned. A minimum of 2 styles will be focused on in each class.

All classes will have an end of term performance!

There will also be lots of chances for us to show parents what we

have been working on! 

Ballet Technique for Young Dancers

This class is specifically designed for young dancers wanting to improve their technique. Ballet Technique classes are the foundation for training and focus on developing a solid technique for ballet, jazz, and contemporary. This class will place emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body, and use of arms. The classes will build strength and coordination. We will be learning correct ballet vocabulary and focusing on alignment. This class is based on RAD training and is good preparation or addition to RAD classes.

Boys ONLY Camps & Classes

This class is for boys only. Boys will learn dance skills, tricks, and routines to current upbeat music. The level will be tailored to those registered. Please watch social media for pop up classes. For other all boys disciplines please email your interest. 

 Dance Camps/Workshops

Camps will include ballet, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, as well as many more fun dance styles. In musical theatre we will also work on a scene and play fun drama games. We will take breaks with fun crafts, projects, and activities. Musical Theatre Camp will focus on singing, dancing and acting to our chosen Musical and creating a prop in our craft time.  There will be a performance for parents on the last day of the camp and at the end of the workshop. 

Tap for Beginners/ Tap Level 1

This class is for beginners or those fairly new to tap. Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. The class will cover the basic steps while focusing on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun. Tap Level 1 is for dancers with some experience with tap.  Grab your shoes (tap shoes required), join in, and let’s get tapping! 

Jazz/Hip Hop and Lyrical/Ballet Competitive

Pre-requisites required. These groups enter 2-3 dance competition in the

spring. The Program runs from September to end of May. Dancers are required

to attend all classes and must have previously completed at least 3x 8 week sessions

of Jazz/Hip Hop with Christie. This program is by invite only. For more information

Private Lessons and coaching will be available upon request: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Stretch and Strength, Stretch & Conditioning for Athletes, Stretch for Hockey Goalies, Ballet for Figure Skaters/Athletes, Pointe, Lyrical, and Parisian Showgirl. 

Classes for other disciplines, age groups, and levels. As well as adult classes, classes for athletes, custom wedding dances and stagettes parties.
